I come from Dagenham, Essex in the UK.
My principal interests are Saab's and the Babylon 5 TV series.
Age-wise I'm circa 49 years being born in 1956.
Currently employed by the Ford Motor comapny as a Systems Analyst - up till now as an Oracle DBA but what in the future is anyones guess as the accountants that run the place are giving all my work to contractors. Dunno what I'll be doing in 2010..... |
| Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home |
1) Does ET life exist - quite probably. How will we discover it - when they want us too if they are more advanced than we are, when we advance enough otherwise.
2) Not sure... Who knows what response such an invitation will bring?
3)It's a good way of using spare computing power for a worthy cause. I think the project is worth doing and wish them every success.
