| Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home |

I've been running SETI@home ever since the first client appeared back when I still had naturally brown hair... :)
Now that BOINC allows for many different parallel processing projects, I'll be expanding my computer's free-time usage and will be signing up to all sorts of similar causes.
In addition, the announcement of the PS3 folding@home client means my PS3 (when it arrives next year) will spend it's spare time trying to help find cures for cancer... all very worthwhile stuff. |
