Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
Back for millions of years ago, there were forces prowling around the galaxy... beyond anything we could understand.
And like anything else, most of them outgrow this little part of the universe, and headed off to greener paths.
Now... Two of them stayed behind, shepherds you might call them, they wanted to look after the younger races, bring them around, help them evolve... into something better.

Actually, I use SETI because my P4 2.66@2.94 freaks out, when standing idle. SETI makes sure that the computer is always ready to use. And I support the project, thinking it´s a good inititive searching for ET :-)
