I refuse to believe we're alone. I do believe that SETI is looking for a needle in a big pile of needles... however you never know...

Ergh... If we're gonna get assimilated then so be it. I believe they'd have to be desperate considering THEY are the ones who found US... I mean really... what could we offer?
I say put out the beacon... they might be able to teach us something... like peace...
