Project Manager of a Structured Cabling Contracting company. Intrest in SETI from it's inception. Believe there has to be someone else "out there". All religious views aside, I thinks its pretty lame of people to believe we are the only ones in the universe.
Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
I am not sure that we should transmit from home yet. I think that passive search is probably the best for now. Not being paranoid, but are we ready to jump into a relationship with a more advanced species (probably too many Sci-Fi movies)? I say more advanced since they would probably find us by a beacon before we would find them.
