I am a gay male living in Indianapolis with my best friend of 30 years. We met in 8th grade. I am looking to hook up with other amatuer or professional astronomers from whom I can learn and share my passion for astronomy. Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
I find it hard to believe that extraterrestrial life does not exist. I beleive it more likely to be discovered through long distance communication rather than physical proximity. I think we should be transmitting some kind of beacon merely to say "we are here" until some contact is made. I run Seti@home because I beleive connecting with other life in the universe is the next major step in the evolution of our species.
