Personal background
G'Day I'm an Aussie living in the outback of Australia at Woomera , South Australia. I'm 38 an work in the Electronics Industry as a tradesman. I first started SETI in 98 although lost my account details .... So I have restarted this year and have been incorporating Seti to the wrok computers ( TY Boss). Some of the first Australian Sattelites were launched from Woomera and its sky line at night does not suffer from light polution.

I have just started to use SETI Client (command line) to increase output when I'm away from the home computer with fantastic results. While the screen saver version suits the work environment fine. All going well I should be on 200 units by end of next month.

Cheers
Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
IT/They/whatever should Exist given the odd's. Seti is one way everyone can join in and help in the search with out taxing your computer resources too much.

I think that the discovery of ETI will change the way countries deal with each other, Perhaps it may stop some of the bickering and focus the worlds attention outwards. It would increase funding to the search and other projects of Space discovery.

Yes we should transmit a beacon, unless their already watching our old TV! I do not think we should send it in code, perhaps plain English ( as it is a common language around the planet).

I love being back with this project !
