Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
I think we are not alone if space is infinite then so are the possibilities.
I don't think we should send a transmission or a beacon becouse i fear that what ever will pick it up probably is more evolved then we are. Why? you ask
In human evolution the futher we seem to evolve the more power we want and the more destruction we create. If other species evolve the same and are more evolved then we are we're in deep shit. :->

I see us as a game of risk. If we find the others before they do us, we might have the chance to sort out they're intentions and act on it.....
