I am an amateur astronomer but by day I am the brewmaster for a craft brewery in St. Catharines, Ontario, Canada ( near Niagara Falls). If I'd known how interesting physics was back in high school, I'd probably be a physicist now. My home is in the city and unfortunately there is too much light pollution so I can't see many stars. One day I hope to buy a house out in the country and get a REAL telescope.
Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
I think ET's HAVE to exist. The chances of Earth being the only planet harbouring life in the whole universe is next to nill. I think we may have already been visited by ET's. More later.
SETI@home and Astropulse are funded by grants from the National Science Foundation, NASA, and donations from SETI@home volunteers. AstroPulse is funded in part by the NSF through grant AST-0307956.
