"Of course there is intelligent extraterrestrial life out there. They have already been here, and left, because they didn't like what they found."
I think anything that says: "Hey you..... We're over here!" would be great. There is always that debate as to whether we will be visited by friend or foe, but the benefits would out way the consequences. Our largest leaps in technology and civilization have come from both peace and adversity.
Since my computer is on 24/7, I thought what a better way to use the processors idle time.
