I'm a 30 year old Support Analyst living in Seattle.
I don't think I've helped mankind too much. So this is my little way of contributing.
Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
Why do I run SETI@home? Why not?
Can anyone seriously say the rest of the universe is there just to serve as a wonder to us? If you can, I commend you for your extremely narrow point of view!
I've been on board with this project since March of 2000. Have any of my results found anything? I don't really know. But, if I can donate just a few of my CPU cycles to help, why wouldn't I?
It is the dreamers like those who run SETI that will take mankind beyond its furthest dreams. God loves scientists and science!
Homer: Did he say science?
Bart: Uhhhh...no. He said pie pants.
Homer: Mmmm....pie pants.
