Personal background
I am a 21 year old university student at the Queensland University of Technology in Australia.

I enjoy computing as both a hobby and an occupation. Being a fan of Linux much of my Seti@home processor time is donated by Linux boxen - usually of the RedHat variatey but due to working in a Windozed world I also have a few Windozed boxen.
Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
Seti@home is great, both from a technical standpoint reguarding its use of distributed computing, and I just think its great because of its motive - to detect the presence of extra-terrestrial life.

I run seti@home firstly because its just cool to be part of something so huge and also to show off processor cycles :o)
