| Personal background |
I'm 28 and live in Kirkcaldy, Fife. I was born in Swindon in England but I was only there for a month as my dad was in the RAF and was posted elsewhere. Over the years I've been to many interesting places, like Germany, I was in Berlin when the wall came down{I had nothing to do with it Officer] and Wales where not much happened. I've been living in Scotland for the last 10 years,though I was also here as a young child.
I like movies alot and computer games. Football Manager and Trackmania United being my favorite games and for film either Dr. Strangelove or The Shawshank Redemption, not sure which I prefer most.
I didn't come to SETI@home with any great desire to find ET, just seemed like something for my computer to do when I wasn't using it. A few years on and I'm addicted. I've taken to leaving my computer on at night and I've built extra computers from bits and pieces lying around and gone from the GUI to the CLI version of Seti. |
