hi,my name is chaitu and iam from INDIA.iam an engineering student in the field of communications.i came across SETI recently and joined immediately to give a hand.i think more people will help too but it has to be publisiced more on active sites.
Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
There is a possibility for ET to exist,afterall if the bigbang theory is tre then we are all formed from the same entity.humans should transmit radio beacons and the information must be mathematical, because it is THE universal language...maybe we should send only odd pulses or even pulses or multiples of a single number. i think there is no use in sending them our location because it may be different according to them.anyway if they can intrepet the signal they will home in on us or send a reply beacon in our direction.i think we will make contact witin the next five years atmost ...so lets keep our fingers crossed:)X
