I have been a SETI@home cruncher for over a year. I have worked in computer
support for over 18 years.
Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
At one time I was a huge fan of SETI and still believe that we will find ET.
I believe that there is already evidence of ET. I ran SETI@home for the
enjoyment at one time however, I discontinued my crunching when I found out
about the nonpatriotic response and seemingly lack of respect given to those
who lost their lives in the attack on America on 9/11/01 as observed through
this site and Berkeley in general.
