| I attend Luther College in Decorah, Iowa but am originally from Grinnell, Iowa. I am an elementary education major and a math minor. I am a computer nerd in the making but have always loved science fiction and space. I have watched star trek since I was little and credit the show with inspiring my interests in things beyond our current reach. |
| Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home |

| I love the idea of SETI. I certainly hope extraterrestrial life exists because if it does the effects for our world will be amazing. I hope that it would cause all the divisions that exist in the world today to become minimal with the knowledge that we no longer exist inside of a gender, race, or nation. Hopefully we would begin to see ourselves as members of a human race. These are very idealistic views but it is this hope that drives my interest in projects such as SETI. Pass the word on to others who have computer power to spare. |
