I'm 30 and work as a Cargo Superintendant for a large Inspection services company. I now live in Bristol, United Kingdom. I spend most of my spare time programming for varius opensource projects and building computers for friends or rebuilding my own computer.
Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
I think that the probability is that intelligent life must exist elsewhere in the universe, I don't really believe in UFOs though. I think that if life does or did exist elsewhere that we should be trying to detect their signals who knows what information may be being trasmitted to us and likewise i feel we should be sending out any useful knowledge we have into space in the hope that it may be useful to some future civilisation out there.
SETI@home and Astropulse are funded by grants from the National Science Foundation, NASA, and donations from SETI@home volunteers. AstroPulse is funded in part by the NSF through grant AST-0307956.
