Hi there,
I'm a 30 year old from Swansea, South Wales, UK and I have been taking part in SETI for not far off a year. I'm single, run my own small business online and love to meet other people. It'd be nice to meet some from my own area too! lol
I have various hobbies including, my business, reading (especially Star Trek and Fantasy), I'm a dedicated Trekkie (you probably guessed that from the above), I love music - mainly classical and moods but also love Def Leppard, The Corrs and many more.
Don't get out much, that's why I try to make as many online friends as possible. When I do go out, I'm not one for clubs - I'm old fashioned! I prefer a quiet drink, a meal, the pictures or even a plain old walk.
So there we are. Hope we find something on SETI, there is definitely life out there...somewhere. |

Extraterrestrial life definitely exists out there somewhere. This is a huge universe and I refuse to believe that we have the only inhabited planet. I hope there is too - there is so much rubbish going on on our own planet, it'd be nice to know there are others out there we could escape to one day! I have no idea when we will discover life - but I firmly believe every day gets us closer to that discovery. I'd like to think it'd be in my lifetime but we just have to wait and see. As to the possible benefits and dangers, well things can't get any worse than they already are so I don't worry about it. I think other lifeforms might be put off with the amount of war, poverty, and abuse to our own planet that we inflict day after day so they may decide to stay well away!
I run SETI because I want to help to do my bit to find other life. Being a dedicated Trekkie I am in love with the idea of the Federation, and although it's a fictional organization, it's nice to think that something like that may happen one day.
