| Hi all my name is George, i am 50 Yrs old and i live in glasgow scotland. I am married to Elizabeth who i love very much and i have a 21Yr old daughter Louise who i would do anything for. I have been running seti@home since 1999 and hope to find out that my comp has found a far away sound, well we all live in hope dont we. George |
| Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home |

1. I run seti@home to further and speed up the possible discovery of other intelligent lifeforms.
2. In my view the project is a neccesary and worthwhile part of life. As a comment in the film Contact With Jodie Foster say's (if there is no other life out in space, that's one hell of a waste of space then) and a true'r thing could not have been said. As we know that there are millions of planets out there and if not one of them are occupied then it begs the question what are they there for. So as far as i am concerned there has got to be some kind of life on one or more of those planets, and if they ever make contact i hope i am alive to see it because then i could die happy laughing at the non believer's. Thanks for letting me rant on. George
3. Only one suggestion couldn't you have some kind of worldwide advertising campaign to get more people's computors onboard the project.. |
