My job? I build, service & troubleshoot the company's servers, networks, & workstations. I also install, troubleshoot & service professional & broadcast electronics & equipment.
I work at a TV & Radio Commercial editing/duplication/distribution facility. We also warehouse Film/Television/historical programs, commercials & movies... Basically anything that can be broadcast or shown in theaters.
If you've ever seen a commercial on TV, or heard it on a radio, you've seen/heard our work. We're the largest company of this type in North America.

| Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home |

Extraterrestrial life likely does exist. It would be fun to even be a small part of it, and doing it by being part of seti is my best chance.
When you consider mathematical odds, and apply it to the vastness of space & time, it appears that life... Even intelligent life is likely, although rarer than the simpler life forms.
Problem though, is the scope of time. There may have been thousands of technological civilizations out there that have come and gone in the course of time.
For all we know, there could've been many civilizations who's time has run out billions of years ago due to their solar system's sun dying out... Unless they were wise enough to outsmart nature and get themselves onto another life-supporting planet.
Our existence is proof that intelligent life can and does exist in this universe. To assume we are 'the only ones', would be arrogant & narrow-minded. Unfortunatley, that's how most view the answer to the question of extra-terrestrial life.
Hopefully a seti discovery will be an eye-opener, causing many to re-consider their value system... To see that there are much larger things of greater importance than personal greed & lust for power as the majority of humans have done. |
