Personal background
Hi I am GHOST from Australia.
As my title suggests I am pretty elusive when it comes to personal information. NO I am not wary of the internet or the Seti@home project. I think the guys do a great job and the project has taken of in a big way. Any jobs in Australia for Seti@home?......
Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
Of course extraterrestrial life exists,I mean we as a planet would have to be pretty arrogant to think that we are the only intelligent life in the universe. Benefits of discovering alien life?....well if the people of the human race can cope with the initial shock of another race of beings, most probably far more advanced then us then I would feel that the benefits would be astronomical to both us and intelligent beings. We then would have to convince the "Aliens" that we are not bent on self destruction and can change our ways and I am sure that they would be able to give us some tips in that area. Seti@home is an excellent idea in trying to discover alien intelligence. The project is well run and one suggestion I have to give the team is the user certificates for milestones completed would be great to see them in colour.
Anyone from Australia intrested in joining please feel free to join our team:-
AUSTRALIAN SETI SEARCHERS we can be found under the clubs section or email me

Good luck and happy hunting.
