| Greetings from Oregon! Growing up in the Pacific area (many differant islands) and surviving 20 years in the military (they pay me to breath now), I have settled (for the time being) here in Oregon. I'm not your typical computer geek here. I work in the semi conductor industry and build computers as one of my hobbies. On the other side of life, I also enjoy competitive hangunning, and am a motorcycle enthusiast (thus the name Panhead). |
| Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home |

| Will humans discover or will extraterrestrials expose themselves (that just doesn't sound right does it). The only way we will learn is to try. I don't think we need to send out a beacon. With all the transmissions that are already going out, I'm sure that any one/thing out there that is able to travel great distances has already 'heard' us. |
