| I'm from Oakland, CA. I served in the Air Force as a gunner on the B-52 Stratofortress (hence the user-id). Now my profession is a data communications engineer for a large IT consulting company. My hobbies include SCUBA, skeet, photography and biking. I've been crunching SETI for just over 2 years and figured it's time to make the move to BOINC. |

I figure that the fact that there is other life in the vast universe is a no-brainer. Running SETI for me isn't necessarily to make the discovery, but more to be a part of it.
2. I respect the hard work of those involved with the project. SETI is a great burn in tool, as well :).
3. Better FreeBSD support for BOINC :) |
