| Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home |

I'm sure that exterrestrial life exists. But because of the restrictions by physical laws I'm not sure if we`ll ever get the chance for any contact.
It would be very problematic for many people, if we would discover intelligent exterrestrial life. Especially religious and conservative people would get problems with this fact. Perhaps some of them wouldn`t believe it, because it is out of their beliefs. But this search is part of the curiosity and history of mankind and I think that we have to do it. |
