Of course other intelligent life must exist in the universe!?! Looking @ the overall size of the galaxy we know to be out there, and that which we don't, it is not a matter of 'if', but 'when'.
The 'when' brings me to my actual point which I would like to make. I do not believe that we will find what we are looking for, until we are able to solve our own problems on the planet on which we living @ the moment.
I don't think that a life form which is more intelligent than ourselves, would allow us to navigate, explore and obviously populate other solar systems with our current self-destructive nature.
I continue to hope that the day will come when we will all realise that what we are doing to ourselves and our planet cannot achieve anything positive. Once we have come to this self-realisation, I don't think that we will be 'alone' anymore. |
