Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
ET life must exist, we'd be a little naive to believe that we're the only living beings in the history of the universe. I would expect that in the not too distant future we shall discover evidence of life, current or past, in the universe.

I think we should transmit something through the universe, whether it's some kind of message or just a concentrated pulse that would be recognizable to another civilization as something other then just radiation or space noise.

I run SETI here at home because I find it fascinating that I'm able to participate (though on a small scale) in something that could very well change the course of human history and of course how we understand the universe.
