Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
I think people would be a fool not to beleive that there is no other life out there, I suppose that we could be liked to pre columbus days when people thought the world was flat, if there is life out there, then is is the unknown what there intentions are, looking at this planet realisticaly would you want to make conntact with us, all the wars and bickering going on in the world, the benifits of aliens with supperior teck, could make this world a better pleace or be the ending of civelisaton as we know it, as columbus sailed out in to the ocean blind he did not know if the Americas existed.
sending out messages dose show that we, as a species are intelegent and are interested in other species, and as a species we are developing in out attitues to life be it terestrial or ext-terestrial sending out a message could also show that we are now bevcaming as a race advanced and wishing to make conntact.

I run seti at home on my computer as do many thousands of people, to give this institution the chance of posibaly discovering the unknown, and by being one more person in the link make that one bit more of a chance to disco=ver that unknown.
