Personal background
      Hi all,

I was a system programmer (now at home only) who (obviously) like computers, Linux, Science Fiction, airplane simulators (and other simulators also).

I'm also a webmaster (www.coianiz.it) and I run SETI@home on my (home's) Linux-box.

I think SETI@home is a very interesting example of distributed computing.
Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
My (humble) statistics-based opinion is that ET-life should exist
(or it was a very terrible waste of space) ;-)))

A life form which can communicate (o, better, travel) in the universe is a life form which worths to meet.

Anyway there is the well-knowk "time-window" problem: at last we use technology from 100 years only... who knows what ET(s) did in this period of time ?
