Personal background
I arrived on your planet 27 years ago. A mere micron of time compared to the time it has taken our people to journey to your planet. 35 generations ago, my forefathers set out for a little blue ball in a very distant galaxy( Perhaps Mr. Hawkins and a select few of his collegues could begin to understand the complexities of how we first came to discover your interesting little planet). Earth, as you all call it. We propagated our species as we journeyed to your interesting abode. You Earthlings could not distingiush me or my people from your own. Think of it as something like a changeling( from your Star Trek series). Some of our people consider The New Generation series to be interesting but VERY primitive compared to our advanced civilization! Do not consider our people a threat to yours! It is we who consider your nuclear weapons most disturbing! We are only here to mix in with you, and observe you. As for me personally, I am from a long line of engineers here to study Computer Engineering in your 21st century. This knowledge I acquire will pass to all of my descendants. One day when the One chooses, we will begin the long journey back to our own planets. I find the fish on your planet fascinating. That is, for sport, for foood, and for pets( particularlly of the Cyprinidae family)....zi sm forbidden to reveal our true location, but I can tell you Aerocibo has the range to find us. The fun is in the chase itself. You are the SECOND civilization we have encountered. We are out there! "Find us they will!" said our great oracle. We consider the exchange of knowledge the greatest gifts civilazations can give each other. One library on one of our planets could fill every computer in your world. So, you see it is not practical for us to exchange all of our knowledge at once. We impart vasts amount of knowledge to you without you ever knowing how we did, or what it was. It is interesting to watch what you people do with this knowledge we impart to you. It is true our civilization is far more
Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
Of course, extraterrestrial life exist!!! I am an extraterrestrial myself. You have discovered us; we walk amongst you unbeknown to you Earthings. Exchange of knowledge is the greatest benefit. The next greatest benefit is how you Earthlings have sex, so varied, so fascinating, so intense. Dangers?': Nuclear arms and escalating forms of voilence between our peoples.

We have received various forms of beacons from you already! Surprise us, although we particullary enjoy your comedies on your ionic bombardment tubes. The best frequency to transmit information to us is 6.96969777777 teraHertz!

I run SETI@Home so you will find my civilzation that much faster!!! Perhaps you Earthlings will find a civilization we have not found yet!!! By the way, the other civilization we discovered was primitive to yours. You would find them boring, I think. Suggestions?: More bandwidth, more computers, higher global rate of people with advanced education so that you are all more productive and can produce more advanced computers faster to analyze the vast amount of data you will receive from our civlization in the near future.
