Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
Yes, I think extraterrestial life exists, otherwise I won't be joining seti@home. Humans will discover it over about 100years from now. I think we can exchange medical data with them, but they can be hostile beiings. That's a risk.
Humans must transmit a beacon for others to find because they must know about our civilisation. We must send information about the human race and other animals on planet Earth.(we musn't send our weaknesses because if they who find the beacon are hostile, they can use oyur data against us).
I run Seti@home because I want to help the people of the SETI project and I join it because I run a competition with other Dutch people. I think it's a good project because we want to discover other species in the universe and I want to meet them. Thanks for reading my story.
