Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
I am excited about the SETI@home project. The idea of a community of people chipping in to analyse data is a really cool example of invention born from necessity. I hope there is success.
Financial considerations aside, a transmitting beacon would be a great idea. Any information sent should be short and mathematical in nature I would guess.
I run SETI@home to "do my share" in a project that interests me :)
