Why do you run SETI@home?
To keep moving up the list on my team and try and knock folks out who have forgotten to reinstall the program until I RULE THE WORLD! Ok, not really... but I DO want to see how high in the team stats I can climb. :)
What are your views about the project?
If it weren't for teams and a sort of 'competitive' edge to it I'd have quit a long time ago... even with it I've quit a couple times because I think we've all done all we can do to the data we've gotten and I think each data-chunk is processed like a zillion times before we get more data. I don't know if I'm right or not, but that's how I feel when I wander off... then I come back again and hope there's been an update to further massage the numbers.
