Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
I was turned on to SETI@home by a friend of mine a while back and I figured if I'm not useing my computer at the time I'd let someone else. I've been an avid fan of space and the technology used to explore it since childhold and this seemed like good thing.
As far as life existing outside of our own little pocket in the universe, I would be more supprised if they conclusively said we were alone. The number of other stars just in our own galaxy, let alone the number of other galaxies would make it highly unlikely.
