Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
ok lets do it by the numbers...

1) Do you think extraterrestrial life exists? If so, when and how will humans discover it? What are the possible benefits and dangers of such a discovery?

I dont care. If et exists, then good for him, and if he wants to share warp drive technology, then thats good for us. Im not loosing any sleep over it thats for sure. When will we discover it ? uhh ok next.. and the benefits.. woah man total universal peace man yeah!.. or interplanetary war!

2) Should humans transmit a beacon for others to find? If so, what information should we send?

Meh, a beacon ? why not cant harm too much can it. Just send some stuff about how to get here, first left after the lights, then up the street, and its the 5th planet on the right. That kinda thing would do it.

3) Why do you run SETI@home? What are your views about the project? Any suggestions?

To be honest I'd much rather be looking for a cure to cancer, but the client program for that sucks, and it doesnt look like its going to change any time soon. So im stickin with my GigantorSeti.
