Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
I was born in the oil camps of Venezuela, son of an American geologis and Venezuelan beauty. I lived in various oil camps in Venezuela and at age 8 moved to Libya and the Iran. I attended various local oil company schools in Venezuela and Libya, high school in Switzerland. While living in Iran I attended University of N Carolina at Chapen Hill, where I received a BS in Geology. I taught English for a year in Iran then received a BS in Petroleum Engineering from Exas A&M. I then worked for Exxon 20 years in Saudi Arabia, Malaysia and Australia, currently working for a consulting firm in London and Houston.
