| Personal background |
I'm an avid Amateur Astronomer with a range of telescopes which I use to observer and do astrophotography with from very urban and light polluted city areas of London, UK.
I'm also a technologist and love working with social networking, cross platform multimedia and mobile technologies. |
| Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home |
| I run SETI@home because I strongly believe that human's are not the only technologically advanced living sentient beings in this fast universe of ours. I believe that one day (probably not in my life time) that we will discover the distance signals of intelligent beings and that far, far in to the future we may even be able to communicate with them. SETI@home is a pre-cursor to all this and will set down the foundations stones through which more advanced research and the search for life in space will sprout from. |
