Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
I Do Think Extraterrestrial Life Does Exist But They Possibly Haven’t Got The Technology As We Do Or Possibly Have More Advanced Technology And May Be Too Far Away For Us To be Able To Pick Up Their Signals.
I Think We Should Send Out A Beacon For Others To Find And I Wouldn’t Mind Giving My Services To Help Do It. Funding Is Always An Issue With These Programs So Realistically I Don’t Think Its Possible.
I Run Seti@Home Because I Believe That One Day The Program Will Make The Discovery Of Life Out In The Universe And It Would Change Our Whole Existence And How We Look At Our Own Lives.
My Suggestion Is To Possibly Let Users Listen To The Data Being Analysed Or Something To That Nature.
SETI@home and Astropulse are funded by grants from the National Science Foundation, NASA, and donations from SETI@home volunteers. AstroPulse is funded in part by the NSF through grant AST-0307956.
