Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
Yes, ET exists. In fact, I think it's rather arrogant and ignorant to think that life on other planets does not exist. Yes, a beacon should be transmitted...they may be searching for us as much as we are for them. As for the information to send: mathematical equations, music, and pictures of life (various forms and activities, like weddings, funerals, etc.). I started running SETI@home because of my brother Kerry (leader of Lawley SETI Project). He got me interested in participating. Unfortunately, due to a horrible car accident, he probably won't be participating for a while. I think the project is a great idea and I'm very happy to be a part of it. I hope we're able to prove that life is out there.
