Hey there from Dawn and Sean. (our names rhyme)
I'm an engineering student at UW-Madison right now. Dawn's coming here next year with plans to major in education.
We're doing SETI because I got hooked on looking at my stats. Right now we have an 1800 xp @ stock and a 2100 xp @ 2133mhz running SETI 24 hours a day.
Soon to be added are:
1800 xp,
700mhz pentium III,
550mhz K6-2,
400mhz celeron,
333mhz celeron.

I hope extraterrestrial life exists... as long as they don't want to come down from the planet vulcan to melt our brains if we don't ask lorraine to the dance.
I doubt that we'll find anything with SETI, and even if we do, there's not much we'll be able to do with a signal of some sort if we find it. Still, it's worth looking.
If humanity wants to survive in the long run, eventually we're going to have to get off this rock. We might as well see if we have any neighbors before we venture outside heh. |
