Personal background
I'm a Computer Engineer, graduated from the University of Puerto Rico at Mayagüez.(COLEGIO!!!!!) I'm also a musician. I now live in the United States. I run SETI on an old PIII 500 MHz w/ 640Mb of RAM, on a DSL line.
Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
I believe that there's something out there, although it can be so far away that it would take us aeons to find them/it. I think his project will decrease the time needed in half, and also will allow to process all the information that arrives and make some sense out of it. I never turn this machine off, so I run seti because I don't want to waste machine cycles. :)
