Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
Given the vastness of the universe and the number of star / planetary systems out there I believe life must exist beyond our own solar system. That said, because of that vastness it is probably very unlikely we will encounter such life any time soon.
I run SETI@home for fun. Who knows? Maybe someday we will "hear" something!
