Hailing from the Saginaw Valley of Mid-Michigan, I reside between Linwood and Pinconning. As of this writing, I am 49 years old and find the concept of foreign planet signals to be fascinating.
I use a fairy new Dell 1 Mhz computer, having recently upgraded from using a Packard Bell 166. What a difference in speed, especially for processing the SETI data. Where it used to take approximately two weeks of computer time per segment, the time is reduced to less than a day in most cases.
I work for a well known automotive company and am happy with my life. |
