Profile: Dave Morris

Personal background
Hey there, seti-type people. My name is Dave, I\\'m from Tustin, CA, as of this writing I am 25 years old and unemployed (i just graduated!) I\\'m interested in the visual arts, graphic design and filmmaking. I love music, and play guitar when I get the chance, even if I\\'m not that good at it. Someday, you may read a book or watch a movie that I\\'ve written or otherwise worked on. If you read those poetry annuals from national poets society, you may have already :)
Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
I run seti at home because I like to keep my computer humming, doing something even when I\\'m not actively on it. It would also be super sweet to find some ET\\'s. It seems like a good project, people complain about doing SETI when you could be doing Folding or Einstein or somesuch other distributed project... I think it\\'s an important question and if anyone is out there we should get to know each other. Carl Sagan may have had something to do with it too...

As for suggestions... better screen savers! I know they take up processes that could otherwise be used seti-ing but it would be sweet to have a really cool SS that let those walkin past could say \\"wow, cool\\", then notice it\\'s seti and ask about it or want it for themselves :)
