Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
I do think there must be "others" out there, And I think that SETI@home is a way to look for, and maybe find those others. I do think it is very narrow minded to think it will take 5 Billions years for a race to evolve, just because humans took so long, or maybe humans were even quick to evolve to what we have become, who knows? I am referring the so called experts : http://www.cnn.com/2002/TECH/space/05/12/alien.search.ap/index.html

Suggestions: More standard features to load and process multible workunits. Optimized executables for most standard cpu's on pc systems. eg. Pentium 4 Pentium 3, Celeron ,AMD , Duron ect. instead of just one executable which runs on all PC systems.
