| Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home |

I think that extra terrestrial life exists, but I dont think that all of it is intelligent. There is no reason why they should be trying to contact us even if they do exist anyway.
I think that we should transmit a beacon, so that if any extra terrestrials are running a project similar to SET@home, they can find us. It should contain information about the species that live on this planet, and about the climate and compoistion of the planet, so that they can decide whether we are worth invading or not!
I run SETI@home because I like the idea that I can be helping to search for ET when I'm not using my computer. I think its a great idea. |
