Im 22 years, living in Sweden. I am working as an networktechnican in a bigger company. I have worked there for a long time now, and i like it very much... A normal day starts at 8 in the morning, when i pull my body out from of the bed. Drink some milk, and eat a sandwich... Then it is off to work... Spend all day in front of different computer-screens. Back home at 18:00. Spend all evening in front of (almost) the same screens... I wonder. How do an networktechnican separate work and private life? I am having some problems :)
Im skilled in math and psychics. Studied Mircrosofts MCSE and some Cisco-courses amongst others.
When i need to unplug, i take my car and travel to our somerresort near the ocean... I go out in the middle of the night. Bringing a pouch full of hot choclate and a binocoulour. Sitting on the beach, watching the reflections of the stars in the sea. That is freedom. The whole universe is next to you... And noone is there to take it from you.

ETI exists. No doubt about that. And i dont think that any sane person can argue about it even... The universe is unlimited. There are an increadible amount of solarsystems out there. And one of them has to have a planet with life on it. The surroundings might not look like the ones we are used to here on planet Tellus. The temperature might be different. The organisms might not be based on carbon as we are... But. Never the less. Life it is... The question is not IF there is life out there. The question is if we are going to meet it... Life doesnt exist very long on a single planet... Not in compared to the existens of the universe. There are life on other planets. But it might be so far away, that we never are going to meet it. Life on earth might be gone before we discover the technology to get there.
S@H for me started in the early 2000. I had just bought my first Abit BP6. And i wanted to test its powers. I ran in to this project, and i fell for its goals. The first project, ever, on the internet that has catched my interest like this. Seti at Home has an meaning.
I am running S@H because I WANT TO FIND ETI. I want to participate. I want to make a difference for the human race.
I have two dreams in my life. (I know this is going to sound strange but...). I want to be able to fly... Without any wings of plastics or engines of iron... I want to be fly freely...
My second dream is that we, humans, finds evidence of extraterrestrial life.
I dont know which one of those two that is most likely to become true... Im happy if one of them does it. |
