| We would have to be way too egotistical to believe we are the only intelligent life in the universe. If aliens know about us then they are likely not eager to make contact yet. We are too violent of a society. None the less, I believe we should try to seek out life. We know how militaries will react to first contact. Let's hope both sides act rationally. Perhaps they can help teach us how to finally find peace on a planetary scale. |
