This is general Philips of the U.S. Air Force. There is no such thing as 'aliens' or 'U.F.O.'s. Any attempt to contact intelligent extra terrestial lifeforms is futile. If there were aliens, they would use no such thing as radio waves for communicating. (At least so the grey ones tell me.) Authorised by the military and Majestic 12 I am ordering a complete shutdown of the SETI project...
Well, actually I'm a Finnish male living near Helsinki (the capital of Finland). I work in Espoo in an American company that designs and manufactures telecommunication equipment. I have somehow managed to get this old (33) and hope to live to see the day we find life outside our own little planet. Actually I'm not that optimistic I will live to see it but I'm quite sure there IS life somewhere...
At least it's nice to think so.
As probably clear from the opening paragraph, I'm a fan of almost any scifi-oriented movies or TV series. Among favorites are of course X-files and series that are connected to the Star Trek universe. And no, I'm not dressed in Starfleet uniform while writing this. ;-) |

Since I found out about SETI@home the thought of running it on my computer has lurked on the background of my mind; I just never got myself into installing it. Well, better late...
