Personal background
I am a student in medical biology, and medical research related stuff. Life, understanding it, and discovering its limits and origins are all subjects that interest me. So searching for life that is thought to be billions of light years from here, is simply seducing me. All our actuals models and thoughts about the mater structure, and universe structure could be incresed in terms of precision if we eventually confirm that life does exist out there.

Hey I don't know about the other guys but, I completed all those units by my computer alone... I mean how can you reach ten thousands units by spending 20 hours for each unit?? I'm pretty proud cause since my registration there's a full year about that I wasn't running seti@home.. and my average by unit is pretty good, 'bout 5 hours... a simple quite normal PC does well the job, looks like.
I want to upgrade my computer to be even faster on Seti... it's a quite good motivation to spend money on my machine.. ;)
Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
I love that idea that we want to participate to probably the humankind biggest enterprise all together. We considerate finally that we're all humans, indepedantly of our nationality or any other discrimination based criterias. We're all watered protein solution, with the same genic expression, with some kind of conscience, and we're all curious to find out if we're alone in here. That's what relates us all, and if we'd think about that more often, maybe we wouldn't have stupid political problems and international argues.
