Personal background
Forty One Years of Age

Father/Husband, Programmer, Musician, Reader, Gamer.

Lehigh University/Northeastern University - I attended these fines schools and never graduated. I worked in the Music Industry in the late 80s and early 90s. Found computers just as the boom started and now have a vast wealth of Programming and IT knowledge and somehow managed to keep working after shoe stores failed, leasing firms quit, and consulting companies went caput.

Lovely wife, great kid. Who can complain? (...barring politically)
Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
Does ET Exist?
Life might exist elsewhere; however, intelligence life would be difficult to find. SETI should remain as a facet of our current science because of the inherent quality of curiousness in the human race and the need to explore.

When will we find 'em?
Who knows?

Benefits/Dangers?
One of the benefits would be humility. There is a greater goodness in humans, but I am wary of charisma and ambition as a pairing. The knowledge of a tangible higher being would be a welcomed paradigm change. I think that we pose a higher danger to ourselves than the danger posed by a civilization that was able to bypass self annihilation...unless we look tasty.
